Jo wins Gold Medal at national championships

We are delighted to report that this weekend Jo defended her title to win the women's Gold Medal at the British Ju Jitsu Association National Championships.

The day was a huge success, and Chairman Martin Dixon, 8th Dan BJJA, was very pleased with the day. Jo did Chief Instructor Martin Rogers, (7th Dan) and the club very proud.

Shuren JuJitsu Seminar on13th March 2010

The 'Shuren Bash' is approaching, held in Romford on Saturday 13th March 2010.

Instructors will include Sensei Dessie McMenamin (7th Dan Jujitsu) and Sensei John Ward (6th Dan Kempo Karate) who are travelling from Ireland to teach on the mat.

Reminder for the Jujitsu class with Terry Parker, BJJA Founder Member

Don't forget this weekend we are travelling to Portsmouth on Saturday to train with Terry Parker and John Hunt - Senior instructors from the BJJA.

The course starts at 2:45pm

Please let your instructor know if you are able to make it - we will be organising transport

Wednesday dojo is closed this week

Due to a parents evening at the School this week, the Wednesday class is shut this week 3rd Feb 2010.
