About the Marston club
Students come from Bedford, Milton Keynes and the surrounding area to train with us at Marston. We’re in the Village Hall so there’s parking avaialable on site. We have loads of white-belt students at the club, with a number of black belts too. Read more about Sensei Kevin Franks

What to expect from your martial arts lesson
Here at Marston we run the class as per the schedule below:
- sign-in & check that everyone is OK and fit to begin class
- rei (formal bow as a mark of respect)
- warmup exercises, sit-ups, press-ups etc
- breakfalling practice (learning / practicing how to roll properly)
- focus pad / kick shield exercises to practice strikes
- syllabus work (practiced in pairs with someone of similar level/ability)
- enhanced teaching (techniques outside of the syllabus)
- cool down
We’ve got students of all sizes here in Marston so everyone gets a chance to practice with different opponents.
